About Us
The Appropriate Technology Centre for Water and Sanitation (ATC) is the research arm for the Ministry of Water and Environment. It undertakes action research, development and promotion of appropriate technologies in water and sanitation. It was established with a task of providing technological solutions to accelerate access to water and dignified sanitation through applied research, technology development and promotion.
The Appropriate Technology Centre is dedicated to catalyzing sustainable utilization, development and management of water and environment resources using appropriate technologies to drive the country’s desired socio-economic development.
